The BlackDog Rules
Have fun
- Please enjoy your time here.
Behave respectfully
- Exercise common courtesy.
Among other things, that means no trolls.
- No griefing, directly or indirectly.
Unless you have permission from the owner of a player-constructed game feature, leave it alone.
Behave ethically
- Exercise your own skills, not hacks. Exploits are unethical, and will lead to sanctions.
Examples include:
- client-side farming or mining machines
- flight and speed boosters
- gamma/brightness boosters, night vision
- radar, x-ray, or other ore finders
Non-AFK farming and mining machines, built in-game, are encouraged. Show your creativity.
However, any machine that creates excessive lag will be removed.
- We use software to detect and block exploits, but in the end it's really up to you to do the right thing.
- We encourage you to report suspected exploits. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
Exercise common sense
- If you think anything you're about to do might be against the rules, don't do it.
- If you think we would consider it wrong, don't do it.
- If you're not sure, ask an admin or op.
Help
- Ask questions in chat. Admin and ops and other players will answer as they can.
- Use the /ticket system in-game to report issues or bugs, or ask questions. Staff will respond to open tickets as quickly as possible.
Privacy Policy

The data are not accessible to other players or to in-game admins or ops.
Server logs are deleted on a rotating basis, after seven days.
So IP data in server logs are retained for no more than seven days.
The logs are also included in server backups.
Server backups are deleted on a rotating basis, after two days.
So IP data in server logs contained in backups are retained for no more than two additional days,
for a total of nine days.
